K Salon ("we", "our", "us") is a private internal application designed for salon owners and authorized salon workers to manage daily operations. This app is not intended for public consumer use.

1. Information We Collect

We may collect the following information:

Staff mobile number (for OTP login)
Employee name and role (if entered by salon management)
Operational records (tasks, services, payments, reports, branch-wise activity, advances, expenses, settlements)
Document records (such as profile photo, Aadhaar and PAN images, where uploaded by authorized users)
Profile and identity photos (for example profile photo, Aadhaar card front/back, and PAN card image)
Device information (device model, OS version)
App usage and diagnostics data (for reliability, analytics, and performance improvement)
Location data for assigned workers when they use branch attendance or enable branch-arrival alerts

We do not collect passwords.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data strictly for salon internal business operations, including:

Secure authentication via OTP
Access control and user management
Managing tasks, services, payments, and reporting
Recording and tracking advances, expenses, and settlements
Managing authorized profile photo and identity document uploads (Aadhaar and PAN) for worker profiles
Improving app reliability and performance
Preventing fraud and misuse

3. Location Data and Branch-Arrival Alerts

K Salon uses a worker's location to verify branch attendance while the app is in use. For workers assigned to a branch with branch arrival alerts enabled, K Salon also accesses location in the background, when the app is closed or not in use, solely to detect entry to or exit from that assigned branch area and show an on-device branch-arrival notification.

This background location feature is optional and requires the worker's device permission. K Salon does not use location data for advertising, does not sell location data, and does not continuously store or transmit raw background location coordinates for this alert.

4. WhatsApp OTP Authentication

We may send One-Time Passwords (OTP) via messaging providers to verify login. Your mobile number is used for authentication and controlled internal access to salon systems.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your data. We may share data only:

With OTP/messaging providers required for login verification
With hosting/infrastructure providers required to operate the service
When required by law

6. Data Retention

Employee and operational data is retained while the account remains active. On termination or request, data may be deleted subject to legitimate business record, payroll, compliance, or legal requirements.

7. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect employee data from unauthorized access, misuse, or loss.

8. Data Deletion Requests

Employees can request deletion through salon management or by contacting us at salon.support@techvix.cloud.
